Sleigh bells will be ringing for Sugarland this fall, as the duo is planning to release a 10-track holiday-themed album in October. Elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame, his long list of credits includes The Judds' "Why Not Me," Patsy Cline's "I Fall To Pieces," and Buck Owens' "I've Got A Tiger By The Tail," by Buck Owens. Canadian Country Music Awards!

The Canadian Country Music Association has announced the nominations for this years Canadian Country Music Awards! Johnny Reid leads the pack with six nominations including Single of the Year for A Woman Like You and Male Artist of the Year. George Canyon and Victoria Banks received five nominations. Established artist Gord Bamford and newcomer Dean Brody both grabbed four nominations. A full list of nominees and their respective categories can be found at http://ccma.org/ The 2009 CCMA Awards are scheduled to take place in Vancouver, BC on Sunday, September 13 at GM Place and will be broadcast nationally on CBC Television with encore airings on CMT in Canada.
